Blogs. A form of media more personally written and directed to certain people. To be honest, I haven't ready many blogs, but the time I've spent checking them out has been quite interesting to say the least.
With one of my primary hobbies being guitar, I immediately thought of finding a blog about it. The first website I found is https://www.guitarworld.com/blogs. What I noticed is that it is more of a collection of authors rather than a single poster and this is something that I really like about this blog site. With the larger amount of authors, this leads to a nice amount of variety in news/information to read about. As an example, they cover news about bands, new music, instruments, and gear. So if there isn't something I'm interested in, I'll surely be able to find something I do want to read.
Now the final blogging website I looked at was Lifehacker (https://lifehacker.com/tech). While the point of the site is to give random tips about things. It comes off to me as muddled without a certain point to it. Even in the tech section and specifically computing I found the posts there to be uninteresting and quite trivial to the average user. One example is a post regarding trying out the new icons for Windows 10 applications (https://lifehacker.com/how-to-try-out-windows-10s-new-system-icons-1841816126). With many of their posts similar to this, I cannot find this weblog keeping my interest for any amount of time.
